Loachapoka enters the 2026 football season with high expectations after an impressive playoff run in head coach Branden Hall's second season at the helm. The Indians finished 8-4, advancing to the second round of the playoffs before falling to Providence Christian, 17-14, in overtime after earning the No. 3 seed in their region.
As the program prepares for another season, Hall said the offseason has centered on rebuilding the core values that create a winning culture while maintaining discipline and continuing to improve each day.
“So we wanna see how good we can be from each day, from August until we start,” Hall said.
Hall also emphasized the importance of playing as one team rather than as individuals. He wants his players to encourage one another, especially when mistakes happen, believing that unity and accountability will be key to the team's success this fall.
Loachapoka opens the 2026 season on Aug. 21 at home against Lanett High School, a team that defeated the Indians last season. The opener will give Loachapoka an early opportunity to measure its offseason progress and seek a measure of redemption.
